HOW TO EAT: AND COOK -A crash course in eating well.

The myriad options at the supermarket—Wheat versus gluten, agave
versus date syrup, organic versus semi-organic—raw vs cooked, soy vs.
cheese, olive oil vs. canola oil, all make today’s food world a
confusing place to eat and shop. Learn the 12 things you need to
know-in order to sort through all the information out there and become
a savvy consumer and cook.
We will prepare healthy recipes using foods that boost immunity and
help fight disease. Classes -include a demonstration and discussion
about ingredients and cooking methods. We will then break up into
groups, turn up the tunes, and create a 3-course meal. At the end of
the night we will gather together around the long wood table and enjoy
the fruits of our labor. Wine and great conversation will be served.
